Grace in good things

  1. Having someone drive down my street and know instantly which house is mine, because it reflects my style and personality (Hey - all those expensive renovations are finally paying off!)
  2. Men who wear cologne.
  3. Resisting the urge to bury my face in the necks of said men to take a deep sniff of said yummy cologne.
  4. Good theatre with good company.
  5. Long discussions about South African politics.

Depends on the cologne. I thought I was wild for this one guy way back when (housemate) and then I realized that when his door was closed, my ardor died.

I was in love with his cologne. I admit I kind of invaded his privacy a teeny bit just to find out what it was--Issey Miyake.

I wish I'd known this before I'd gotten my heart broken the first time because I swear--although I cannot prove--that it was the cologne that time as well.

When my husband wears Obsession Night I go a little nuts.

I had an ex who wore issey miyake and it is a.m.a.z.i.i.n.g! Still to this day if I smell it on a guy when I'm out I have to resist the urge to follow them down the street!

I fall for Hugo Boss - the original not all the little chip offs. And I do not reign myself in when a gentleman smells delicious. I just lean and breathe, look him straight in the eye and tell him he smells so gooood. It's quite a lot of fun when he's a perfect stranger ;)

Note: my security word to post is "runprick"

dk That is interesting b/c I never knew what cologne that other guy wore but, when I figured out it was his cologne I was actually in love with, I spent hours at the mall trying to figure out which cologne it was and I was pretty sure it was Hugo Boss.
